Teaching & Engagement

I believe research becomes more meaningful when knowledge is shared, discussed and used to inform practice. I therefore seek to connect research, teaching, training and participation in initiatives that promote equality, inclusion and wellbeing. My work involves dialogue with researchers, teachers, professionals, institutions and civil society organisations. This diversity of contexts allows me to bring different perspectives together and contribute to responses informed by research.
Teaching and academic supervision
I contribute to higher education in the fields of gender studies, sexualities and digital technologies. I value interdisciplinary and critical approaches that connect concepts and scientific evidence with social and professional contexts.

Connecting knowledge and society
Science communication and collaboration with institutions and organisations are important dimensions of my work. I seek to make research findings accessible and useful to those who educate, support, care for, work with and make decisions affecting others. In this context, I highlight my involvement in CriA.On – Children and Adolescents Online, a platform dedicated to sharing knowledge and resources about children’s and young people’s digital experiences.
Training and professional development
I develop and contribute to training activities for teachers, researchers and other professionals on topics including gender equality, children’s and young people’s digital practices, artificial intelligence, digital competencies, prevention and digital wellbeing. I value participatory methods that encourage discussion of experience, analysis of real-world situations and the development of context-sensitive intervention strategies.
